Development partner confirmed for Salford Crescent masterplan
The development partner for the £2.5bn Salford Crescent masterplan has been revealed.The English Cities Fund – a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England – will now lead on the creation of a 240-acre city district over the next ten to 15 years.It will be designed to create an inviting place generating wealth, jobs and knowledge that will benefit the wider Salford economy.It has the potential to create 3,000 homes, one million sq ft of commercial and innovation space for health automation and robotics, and the same amount for education.
