Diffusion Alloys to build facility following new PD Ports lease
Diffusion Alloys has agreed a new lease with PD Ports that will support the construction of a £1.5m coating facility and centre for excellence at Teesport Commerce Park.The company, which specialises in diffusion coatings for large components, has occupied its current site at Teesport Commerce Park for more than 18 years.The new lease will support plans to build a new, 8,000 sq ft warehouse on site that is expected to boost processing capability and create 20 jobs over the next two years.The investment follows PD Ports’ success in securing two waste-to-energy plants to the Tees Valley in conjunction with Wentworth Clean Power, worth a cumulative £660m.
