East Pilgrim Street project moves forward
A consultation on proposals to refresh the retail-led development aspirations for Newcastle’s East Pilgrim Street has been launched.Draft development frameworks have been drawn up which will provide guidance for two main elements of the project.A retail development has been earmarked for the northern part of East Pilgrim Street, given its proximity to the heart of the city’s shopping centre.The central and southern areas would be developed for uses including office, residential and leisure space.Motcomb Estates manages the property portfolio on behalf of the Reuben Brothers who own much of the real estate on East Pilgrim Street.
