ENGIE starts on Runcorn scheme
ENGIE has started work on a Runcorn development.The £3.29m scheme will see the derelict Tanhouse site – including the former Old Transporter pub – demolished to start construction of the new community on behalf of Plus Dane Housing.On completion, it will comprise 16 affordable rental homes.Plus Dane has appointed ENGIE and John McCall Architects to bring forward the design and construction. Demolition began at the start of January, with completions scheduled for the spring of 2021.Homes England have provided grant funding through its Affordable Homes Programme.
