Engineering firm wins contract for new £12m hospital
A Newcastle-based engineering company has won a six-figure contract to support the construction of a new private hospital in Northamptonshire.RWO Associates will provide civil and structural engineering services for the two-storey £12m Ramsey Healthcare facility in Kettering.The day care medical centre, which is being built by Metnor Construction, will offer a range of diagnostic facilities such as MRI, CT scanning, X Ray , mammography as well as endoscopy treatments, physio and outpatient departments when it opens in late 2022.RWO will now review the proposed development and provide designs, flood analysis and drainage systems as part of a package of services to ensure a swift infrastructure and civils build phase.The contract is the latest success for RWO, which has offices in Newcastle and Leeds, with revenues approaching £2m.
