First homes to be built on Shottery development
The first 200 homes on a huge housing development in Shottery that has been on the drawing board for almost 20 years were given planning permission on Wednesday May 26th.Phase one of the development will see Bloor Homes built 124 homes for the open market and 76 so-called affordable homes on land at the northern end of the site.Stratford-on-Avon District Council’s west area planning committee also approved plans for an access road to the site from Alcester Road and West Green Drive.
