Five companies sign up at £1.2m Enterprise Village extension

Five companies have taken space in a £1.2m extension of Grimsby’s Enterprise Village business hub.As part of E-Factor’s development, seven units have been created on the historic site of the former Atkinson’s smokehouse. It brings the total number of units in the village to 33.Each of the new units features warehousing and office space. Solar PV panels, flood-risk mitigation design and electric vehicle charging points are included, as well as 40 additional parking spaces.The first company to make the move into the Enterprise Village extension was seafood supplier Ish Fish.The other new tenants are F4 IT, Embley Builders, Adrenaline Muay Thai and Rothenburg Associates.The site of the new units has been named Parkinson Place in recognition of E-Factor estates manager Tony Parkinson, who managed the project remotely via video camera, due to having to isolate during the coronavirus pandemic.
