FM Conway nabs infrastructure for Kent innovation park
FM Conway has secured a £12m deal to provide infrastructure for a 1.1m innovation business park next to Rochester airport.The 12-month contract is due to start next month and will open the way for the Innovation Park Medway which is being developed by the council.The council hopes it will be a magnet for high value technology, engineering, manufacturing and knowledge intensive businesses looking to grow in the south east.Works will include reconfiguring Rochester Airport to release the land required for the development.FM Conway will bring forward delivery of enabling infrastructure, including access road, signage and utilities, required to facilitate development of the first section of the northern site of Innovation Park Medway and the southern site.
