FM Conway scores Maidstone United stadium work
Sevenoaks-based infrastructure services company FM Conway has won a £400,000 contract to construct a new north stand terrace for Maidstone United FC in Kent. The deal marks a return to the club’s Gallagher Stadium for the company, which worked on a £550,000 extension project for the main east stand last year. Following on from Maidstone United’s promotion to the Vanarama National League at the end of last season, this latest contract win will see FM Conway working alongside structural steel construction specialists REIDsteel to erect a new north stand terrace. The additional stand will bring the stadium’s total capacity to 4,170 people in line with National League requirements.
