Former Co-op site deal to pave way for regeneration
A former Co-op site in Dover has been acquired by the district council as part of its regeneration and property investment plans.The former Co-op site provides an opportunity to link the Old Town through to the £53m St James leisure and retail development, as well as enhancing the Riverside walk and connections through to Pencester Gardens and the bus terminus.Its regeneration will coincide with plans to redeveloper the former nightclub/cinema site on Castle Street into new homes and retail space, the council said.
