The?113?affordable homes announced today bring the Combined Authority significantly closer to?this target.??Since the onset of Covid-19, which has impacted the construction industry, the Combined Authority has been working with housing developers on a range of solutions including offering interest-free loan to encourage them to keep building affordable homes for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and will continue to do so.The housing committee were also updated today on a 70 million housing programme to provide new affordable homes in Cambridge City to which the Combined Authority has provided over £26 million of funding. So far, 270 net new units have started on site with 53 net new units completed across eight sites.
