In response to this, the Morrisons Foundation Trustees have pledged £500,000 towards the Homeless Support Fund. The fund is designed to support charities caring for the homeless during the coronavirus outbreak and ensure help gets to those who need it most.Registered charities that care for the homeless can apply for support to cover three broad areas:Outreach and support for rough sleepers, including provision of essentialsDelivery of services in hostels and sheltersInformation and adviceYou should:Be registered with the Commission/OSCR for a minimum of one year and have filed their documents (i.e. Trustee’s Reports and Financial Accounts) on timeWork directly with homeless people and provide support of one (or more) of the areas the fund cover5.
