Galliford Try picked for 600-home Kidderminster scheme
Galliford Try Partnerships has secured a £23m contract with Homes England to deliver 600 homes at the former Lea Castle Hospital site near Kidderminster in Worcestershire.Secured via Homes England’s Delivery Partner Panel 3, this new contract follows Partnerships’ announcement last April that it will be building a further 850 homes with Homes England across four other sites.The site just north of Kidderminster town centre will provide homes in a range of house types and tenures alongside improvements to the existing landscape.The Wood Group drew up the infrastructure designs to redevelop the Lea Castle Hospital site, which was closed by the NHS in 2008.
