Galliford Try seeks earthworks firms for £300m A47 upgrade

Galliford Try has gone out to public tender to find earthworks contractors for two dualling schemes as part of the planned £300m upgrade of the A47 in Norfolk.As Highways England’s East Region Delivery Partner, the firm is seeking to get earthwork specialists on board for early contractor involvement to provide technical and commercial input into the detailed design phase and help formulate the budget and programme.The first of the two projects is dualling of 3km of the A47 from Blofield to North Burlingham.
