Glasgow waterfront office development given major refurb
Commercial property investment firm AM alpha has started work to refurbish an office development in Glasgow city centre.The Grade A office space has nine floors and will be 79,300 sq ft, with large and flexible floor plates ranging from 8,665 sq ft to 9,041 sq ft. In addition, the 7th floor features a private terrace with views of the River Clyde.Muller International has been appointed as property manager for the 200 Broomielaw building.The project team includes building contractor Clark Contracts, architect Michael Laird Architects and project manager Reith Lambert. JLL has been appointed as letting agent alongside Reith Lambert.The multi-million pound project includes the refurbishment of all floors and common areas, relocating the entrance to the centre of the building and creating a new reception with a waiting area, along with a business lounge and a dedicated concierge for all occupants.It is designed to provide the highest hygiene standards, with touch-free technology featured heavily throughout the building.There will also be a full wellness suite, with yoga studio, gym-style changing rooms and click and collect lockers located at the basement level.
