Glen Housing Association –Approved Contractors

Glen Housing Association is looking to add to its Approved Contractors’ List, from which, contractors will be invited to tender for the Association’s Repairs and Maintenance contracts.The Association manages 475 properties in the Glenrothes, Milton of Balgonie, Windygates and Levenmouth areas of Fife.Over the years, we have worked in partnership with a number of small, local contractors providing individual trades or multi-trade operatives, to deliver over 1000 reactive repairs annually.Our Repairs Policy has very demanding timescales for completion and we expect repairs to be completed right, first time and with a high level of tenant satisfaction.The Association is looking for suitably skilled contractors with experience of domestic reactive repairs in Social Housing or a similar environment, in any or all of the following trades:JoinerPlumberElectricianRooferPainterThe successful contractors will have experience of working with Housing Associations or similar, experience of undertaking the Main Contractor and Principal Designer role under Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, and have high standards of Health and Safety, experience of meeting strict completion timescales, and be able to evidence high quality service and customer satisfaction levels.Interested contractors can request an application pack from karenmilne@glenhousing.co.uk
