Glenn Howells’ Edgbaston regeneration scheme goes for planning
Plans have been submitted to Birmingham council for a £300m scheme in Edgbaston which will provide up to 400 new homes and around 2,400m² of retail and commercial space.Designed by Glenn Howells Architects, the New Square Garden project is set to be developed by a partnership between Calthorpe Estates regeneration specialists U+I.It will cover 4.3ha, currently occupied by 1960s office buildings sitting alongside the Hagley Road, a main road route into and out of the city.
