Go-ahead for 350 new homes on five field site at Pinhoe, Exeter
Outline planning permission has been granted for Redrow (West Country) to build up to 350 new homes located at its new site, Saxon Brook, on the eastern edge of Pinhoe.There is currently a reserved matters application from Redrow for 306 brand new homes at the site, which is pending under the authority of East Devon District Council.Redrow has exchanged contracts for the land and outline planning permission was granted for the new site in December 2015, which comprises approximately 24 hectares and sits adjacent to Old Park Farm which is currently being developed for residential use by another homebuilder.The reserved matters application at Saxon Brook is proposing a wide range of properties for the local community of which 77 will be affordable housing.The site, made up of five fields, will be delivered in phases which will start in the east and complete in the west.
