Go-ahead recommended for new student accommodation
Plans for a new student accommodation development in Birmingham have been recommended for the go-ahead.Alumno (Pershore) Ltd is seeking approval for the scheme earmarked for the old BT Telephone Exchange in Dogpool Lane.If approved, the existing buildings would be knocked down and replaced by 167 student beds.The plans have been designed by Glenn Howells Architects and also include a ground floor commercial unit.
