Go-ahead tipped for new secondary school
A 1,260-place secondary school and sixth form could be constructed in Derby after the proposal was tipped for the green light.The project would include a three-storey teaching block and separate sports hall for Derby Cathedral School on land at the former Friar Gate Goods Yard in Great Northern Road.The scheme is to be debated by the city council’s planning committee at a meeting on Thursday 18 July.
