Graham Signs On For Multi-Million Pound Crossrail Upgrades
Northern Ireland-based construction firm Graham has been appointed to deliver three projects under the Crossrail West Enhanced Stations Phase 2 programme.The contractor will construct two completely new stations in West Ealing and Acton Mainline, and significantly remodel Ealing Broadway. Crossrail will see a new railway system fully integrated with the existing transport network in central London when services begin in 2020. The new Elizabeth Line will stretch more than 60 miles from Reading and Heathrow in the west, and through central tunnels across to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.Graham will begin work immediately on the £46 million projects on behalf of Network Rail. Completion is scheduled for late 2020.
