The tallest tower within the SimpsonHaugh-designed scheme will be a grey brick colour, the middle block will be a more muted red/orange brick colour, and the smallest will be a warm red brick colour. The 1.2-acre site lies next to the under-construction Owen Street development, which includes about 1,500 apartments across four storeys, of which the highest will be 64 storeys tall.Manchester City Council’s planning committee has approved the application having been recommended to do so.
