Green light for Atlas Birds Eye site plans
Atlas Leisure Homes has secured permission for its plans to use the former Birds Eye site in Hull for leisure home storage.The business is set to move its holiday home storage facility to the near-18 acre site.It will then embark on the construction of a new factory to open in time for the expiry of the lease at its current premises in Wiltshire Road in late 2019.Atlas currently employs a workforce of almost 250 and is expecting turnover to exceed £30m this year.The company has worked closely with Hull City Council, which is “eager to help” Atlas modernise its facilities and create jobs.
