Green light for bathroom pod assembly factory
Plans for a new bathroom pod assembly factory on an overgrown development plot off Temple Street in Hull have been approved.Kubex, a family run manufacturing business established in 1990, has secured permission to develop a facility where final assembly of its bathroom pods can take place.The pods are typically used in commercial developments such as student accommodation and hotels.The proposed two-storey building is 6,000 sq ft in size and the factory is expected to support about ten jobs.According to the application, Kubex, which already has a site on Stepney Lane in Hull, is in the process of acquiring the land from Hull City Council.The plans were submitted by P&N Design.
