Green light for facility on Rolls-Royce-owned site
An application proposing the construction of a new commercial facility on a site owned by Rolls-Royce in Coventry has been green lit.Manse Opus (Ansty) LLP brought forward plans to construct a building on plot three of Prospero Ansty.The land historically formed part of Rolls-Royce Ansty’s manufacturing site and is located south of Ansty Park.The proposal extends to approximately 176,000 sq ft and will be accompanied by 190 car parking spaces.A statement lodged with Rugby Borough Council on behalf of the applicant said: “The proposed development does not constrain the retained operations of Rolls-Royce on the site and allows for the future development of Prospero Ansty.”The scheme has now been approved, subject to conditions.
