Green light for homes on former school site
Plans to build more than 100 homes on the site of a former primary school in Nottinghamshire have been approved.Nottinghamshire County Council sought outline approval from Broxtowe Borough Council to build 110 properties on land at Lynncroft Primary School on Garden Road in Eastwood.The indicative plan shows the housing arranged on the site of the former school buildings, which have been demolished, and on top of a playing field.It is anticipated that the scheme will provide market housing with a mix of two and three bedrooms.The application was reviewed by Broxtowe’s planning committee on 3 November.The scheme has now been approved, subject to conditions.
