Green Light for Job-creating Kent Project
Plans have been given the green light for a £180m warehousing and distribution facility in Kent in a move that could create 3,000 jobs.Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council has approved plans for the redevelopment of the former Aylesford Newsprint site next to the River Medway, which has stood vacant since 2015.The scheme is being led by logistics development giant Panattoni.Detailed planning consent is in place for the first two units and proposed new link road. Work is expected to start this spring.The £7m link road will connect Station Road and Bellingham Way.
