Green light for Lincoln Travelodge
Plans for a Travelodge hotel on land just off Tentercroft Street in Lincoln city centre have been approved.Development company S Harrison will start work building the 127-bedroom hotel in November this year, once a temporary transport hub vacates the site.The five-storey Travelodge will provide 60 double bedrooms, 61 family rooms and six accessible rooms with 22 dedicated car parking spaces. The building will be constructed mainly from red and buff brickwork with recessed grey aluminium window frames.On the ground floor, the main entrance will lead to the reception and breakfast area, a café, bar and seating area, and there will also be a kitchen and storage rooms on this level.
