Green light for Oxon industrial park
Plans for a new 675,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution park in the Oxfordshire town of Bicester have been given the go-ahead.Symmetry Park is being developed by commercial property business db symmetry, and will provide “much needed” warehouse and industrial space in the area.Construction of an 88,000 sq ft pre-sold unit is due to commence at the end of the year with other advanced negotiations underway.Real estate adviser Savills has been instructed by db symmetry to market the scheme.Situated on the A41 and close to junction 9 of the M40/A34 interchange, Symmetry Park benefits from excellent road links to the Midlands and the South. The site is under two hours drive time from London, Southampton and Birmingham and is close to both Bicester Village and Bicester North stations linking the site to Banbury and Oxford Parkway.
