Green light for revised New Bird Street plans
A modified design for a new residential building on New Bird Street in Liverpool has been approved.The Falconer Chester Hall-designed scheme retains the design principles of the previously approved project from Tim Groom Architects but now includes more apartments in a bid to “better meet market needs”.The changes, on behalf of Legacie Developments, allow for a more efficient layout with a reduced gross floor area.It will now comprise 202 units made up of 109 one-bedroom, 90 two-bedroom and three three-bedroom duplex apartments. There will also be commercial space on the ground floor.
