Green light for social housing redevelopment of St Ninians site
A vacant site in the St Ninians area of Stirling is to be redeveloped to provide social housing following approval from Stirling Council.An empty block of flats situated on Glasgow Road is currently being demolished to make way for a significant redevelopment which will provide eight units of council housing after approval for the procurement process to begin was granted at a recent meeting of the Environment and Housing Committee.The project is valued at an estimated £1.6 million with the council seeking £0.6m of grant funding towards the development from the Scottish Government.
