Green light nears for Parklands Sports Club plans
Plans to extend the Parklands Sports Club in Knowsley look set to move ahead this week.Lined up is repurposing land that is currently used to house storage containers.An extension – which would house a gym and fitness rehabilitation centre, as well as physio treatment rooms – is proposed.The application has drawn small amounts of criticism, with ten locals objecting and raising concerns.However, a 120-strong petition supporting the proposals has also been submitted.The application is set to go before Knowsley Council’s planning committee on 10 June, with approval recommended.
