Green light set for 62-homes bid
A total of 62 homes could be built in Newark after the plan was tipped for the go-ahead at a meeting next week.Westleigh Partnerships are behind the bid for the land in Bowbridge Road which will be voted on by Newark and Sherwood District Council at a meeting on Tuesday 15 January.The four-acre site used to be occupied by RHP The Bearings and used for commercial industrial use as well as for conferences and training.The two buildings that were on the site have since been demolished.
