Green light set for homes on former school site
Plans to build more than 100 homes on the site of a former primary school in Nottinghamshire look set to be green lit.Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking outline approval from Broxtowe Borough Council to build 110 properties on land at Lynncroft Primary School on Garden Road in Eastwood.The indicative plan shows the housing to be arranged on the site of the former school buildings, which have been demolished, and on top of a playing field.It is anticipated that the scheme would provide market housing with a mix of two and three bedrooms.The application will be reviewed by Broxtowe’s planning committee on 3 November.
