Green light tipped for brewery homes transformation
A proposal to construct 75 homes on the former site of a Nottinghamshire town’s brewery is to be voted on today after being recommended for approval.Wise Living is behind the scheme for land to the west of Great Central Road in Mansfield.The application, which was submitted to the district council in April, will be voted on by members of the authority’s planning committee at a meeting today.The 3.7-acre site was the previous site of commercial and factory buildings which formed part of the old Mansfield Brewery.The buildings were demolished several years ago and the site cleared.
