Green light tipped for major residential scheme
The green light has been tipped to transform a former Birmingham base of a US aerospace and defence company into a major residential development.Homes England is seeking permission from the city council to build almost 90 properties on the former UTC Aerospace System’s premises in York Road, Hall Green.If approved by the authority’s planning committee at a meeting on Thursday 6 June, up to 87 homes will be constructed on the 6.4-acre site.The plans were first revealed in November 2018.
