Green light tipped for town centre flats
Almost 30 affordable apartments could be constructed in Evesham town centre after the plans were tipped for the green light.Rooftop Housing Group is behind the proposals for the land in Swan Lane which would see 27 flats created in one two-storey and one three-storey building.A total of 27 car parking spaces would also be created while a number of commercial buildings, which are currently vacant, would be knocked down.Wychavon District Council’s planning committee is set to meet remotely on Thursday 30 April to debate the proposals.
