Guildford housing scheme set for nod
Plans to build a development of almost 60 homes in Guildford are set to be given the green light.The plot to the east of White Lane and west of Chestnut Lodge in Ash Green has been earmarked for the project by Bellway.The greenfield land has previously been used for agricultural purposes and as horse paddocks.An application set to go before Guildford Borough Council’s planning committee on 22 May 2019 with a recommendation for approval propose the construction of 59 dwellings, 24 of which will be affordable.Subject to approval, planning officers have recommended the completion of a section 106 agreement, which would secure the affordable housing allocation as well as contributions towards highway safety, education and healthcare.
