Harrogate residential development gets green light
A planning application for a new residential development of 130 new homes to the south west of Harrogate has been given the green light.Banks Property put forward proposals last year for a new housing scheme on a 16.1-acre site at Castle Hill Farm, off Whinney Lane in Pannal Ash.The scheme will provide up to 130 new family homes, as well as areas of informal green space and new pedestrian links.It is also set to bring benefits including new jobs during construction and contributions towards meeting affordable housing needs and education provision in the area.Harrogate Borough Council’s planning committee resolved to approve the planning application in line with the recommendation of their planning officers.
