The current contract for Health and social work services in Nottingham is projected to end on 23/4/2018 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Health and social work services in Nottingham included re-commission the services that were first tendered under the former “Aiming High for Disabled Children” pathfinder project, which established a framework of providers that offers Disabled Children and their parent’s access to Short Breaks, specialist Homecare / Childcare and Play opportunities.The Council is committed to working with partner organisations in order to secure high quality short breaks/childcare for disabled children.These services have proved to be very popular and the demand for services has continued to outstrip supply. The objective of this procurement is to build on the success of service by adding additional capacity to deal with the projected demand.The Services covered by this procurement exercise have been sub-divided into categories namely:Lot 1 Sitting & Befriending.Lot 2 Holiday, Play & Youth Provision.Lot 3 Disabled Children’s Access to Childcare.Lot 4 Breaks in Partnership.Lot 5 Direct Payments & Personal Budgets.Tenderers are encouraged to bid for as many of the services within the above lots as they have capacity to service. Tenderers may be awarded places in a number of lots.
