Highland Council unveils plans for new housing in Inverness
Highland Council has revealed plans to transform the Culcabock Child Guidance Centre in Inverness to help meet the demand for housing in the area.The centre located off Culcabock Avenue was formerly a primary school and is currently used as a space for psychologists and other child care professionals to work and hold meetings in the city.Council officials have now submitted a full planning application to renovate the internal layout of the period building to create three flats.The main living accommodation will be housed on the ground floor of the property, whilst making use of the double-height existing windows on the property.The council also intends to build three semi-detached and detached homes on the site, The Press and Journal reports.
