Housebuilder acquires land for first development in East Ayrshire
MUIR Homes has announced it has acquired land to allow the delivery of new homes at its first development in Kilmarnock.The site will be 4.76-acres in size and the layout is being prepared to give a range of options to families wishing to live in the East Ayrshire town.This acquisition is the housebuilder’s first development in East Ayrshire and is is the second land purchase in the last six months following a site in Stanley for 187 homes.Paul McKay, MD, Muir Homes, said, “Muir Homes has continued their expansion by acquiring a new site in a highly sought after are in Kilmarnock. The development will be made up of a range of family homes and Muir Homes hope to start building this site next year.“We are excited about this site as it will be our first site in Kilmarnock, this fits in with our growth plans. and we are negotiating with vendors on a number of other sites in the central belt. Our homes are perfectly suited to this central location, with excellent quality education and community facilities and easily commutable to Glasgow, and we look forward to welcoming families to our new development in the very near future.”
