Housebuilder plots eco-friendly development after acquiring site
Solihull developer Hayfield has acquired a 5.5-acre site in the Worcestershire village of Hallow to deliver 55 eco-friendly luxury homes.The proposed £19m scheme is next to Hayfield Meadow, a residential development which the housebuilder completed in 2019.Hayfield is currently on site delivering 500 homes at seven developments across Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Wiltshire. The housebuilder says it is on track to double turnover to more than £100m this year.Its second Hallow scheme has been designed with a 40% provision for affordable housing while the eco-friendly measures include air source heat pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, and electric vehicle fast-charging points.The site has recently been allocated within the Parish Council’s Neighbourhood Plan for the Hallow Neighbourhood Area.
