Housebuilder snaps up 75-acre Warwickshire residential plot
Persimmon Homes has acquired a 75-acre development plot in Bedworth, Nuneaton and is set to construct up to 455 homes.Richborough has completed the sale to the developer, which plans to create a range of one to five-bedroom homes, alongside a 55-bed senior living facility and 3.5-acre district centre.25% of the housing on the site at Hospital Lane will be designated as affordable.22 acres of open spaces will also be included in the scheme, featuring amenities such as a children’s play area, outdoor and green gym facilities, a community orchard and allotment, and a wildlife park.The transaction was facilitated on behalf of the landowner, the Nicolas Chamberlain Trust, with representation from Godfrey Payton Chartered Surveyors.Anabel Christmas, regional director at Richborough, said: “We are thrilled to have secured Persimmon as a development partner, representing our first-ever sale to them in our 20 years of business.
