Housing approved for former industrial site
A residential development planned for a former industrial site in Nottingham has been approved.MyPad 2020 brought forward proposals to build 39 properties on land adjacent to Gateway House on Beechdale Road.The brownfield site formerly in industrial use but has been left vacant for a number of years.Designed by Player Roberts Bell Architects, the scheme comprises four one-bed flats and one to four-bed houses.”The vision for the development is to create needed housing within a high-quality environment and sustainable development,” a design and access statement.Nottingham City Council has now approved the project.
