Housing proposed near Shropshire farm
Plans have been submitted for a 40-strong development on land near a Shropshire farm.Great Oak Homes has brought forward proposals for a scheme on a site west of Lineage Farm and east of Teme Valley Holiday Park.The company is looking to build a mix of one-bed flats and two- to four-bed houses, along with a number of two-bed bungalows.Of these properties, 20 per cent would be allocated as affordable housing.Additionally, 92 car parking spaces would be provided across the site.A statement lodged with Shropshire Council on behalf of the applicant said: “The proposed development of 40 dwellings at land west of Lineage Farm will contribute to meeting local housing need through delivery of a site allocated in the emerging local plan.”The principle of development is thus supported in planning policy terms.”
