Hummus and pita chain to open at Thorpe Park Leeds
A hummus and pita chain has chosen The Springs at Thorpe Park Leeds as the location for its 13th outlet.Humpit, established as a street food pop-up in July 2014, has 12 existing stores from Edinburgh to London and the South Coast with plans to open 30 more in the next five years.The chain will open at The Springs today (12 February 2020), serving a range of fresh salads, hummus, falafel and drinks. It will be open seven days a week between the hours of 11.30am and 3pm.Thorpe Park Leeds is an established business location with 800,000 sq ft of development built and occupied to date, including 600,000 sq ft of offices.A £162m investment deal with Legal & General Capital in 2015 secured a transformational 1.35 million sq ft mixed-use expansion, bringing forward exceptional new business opportunities to the Leeds City Region.Phase two includes the 350,000 sq ft retail and leisure park as well as a further 900,000 sq ft of office accommodation, 300 new residential homes by Redrow and a 113-acre public park with sports facilities.
