Hundreds of homes set for development after new deals
North East regeneration and housing specialist has signed deals with two regional housing providers to develop 418 new homes.Vistry Partnerships, a new venture established following Bovis Homes’ £1.1bn purchase of Galliford Try’s housing and regeneration businesses, will work closely with Beyond Housing in Redcar and The Riverside Group in Washington.Three-hundred-and-sixty properties will be built on land to the west of Kirkleatham Lane in Cleveland, 37 available for shared ownership and 71 for affordable rent. 80 will be available for private rent and the remaining 172 will be sold by Vistry’s housing division.A further 58 properties will be developed on the former Ayton School site in Washington. Riverside will take half for shared ownership and the remaining houses will be sold by Linden Homes.In addition to the Redcar and Washington schemes, Vistry Partnerships divisions will also build 334 homes in Runcorn, 116 in Cannock and 60 in Dorset on land acquired from Homes England.
