Hundreds of jobs earmarked for major employment scheme
Hundreds of jobs could be created in Leicestershire after plans for a major employment hub were submitted.Brackley Property Development and Vanguard Right to Build are behind the scheme for land at Broughton Astley Golf Complex in Coventry Road.A total of 300 full-time equivalent jobs would be created if the plans are given the go-ahead by Harborough District Council in the coming months.The scheme would include 192,000 sq ft of space in total with 110,000 sq ft set aside for for industrial use, 25,000 sq ft of office space, 16,000 sq ft for restaurant use, 27,000 sq ft for leisure, 10,000 sq ft for healthcare and 4,000 for a nursery.A total of 400 new car parking spaces would also be created.
