Description: The Awarding Authority have applied and successfully obtained funding to establish the Third Sector ICF Covid 19 related Discretionary Capital Grant scheme. Organisations delivering support and services in the West Glamorgan RPB area can apply for funding to cover capital costs associated with Covid 19 adapted services. The grant fund can also cover retrospective costs incurred since April 2020 associated with Covid 19.Grants have to be spent by the 31st March 2021Organisations can apply for funding to include: provision of home and office adaptations, assistive technology and IT equipment including Laptops, Tablets and Mobile Phones and items that support remote working driven by the crisis.Organisations can also apply for funding for items that support a return to office based or face to face service delivery, for example adaptation of meeting rooms, screens, signage, sanitiser stations etc. Where organisations are involved in ensuring the rapid discharge of patients from hospital, grants can be awarded for any ad-hoc equipment that supports rapid discharge.Applicants need to ensure that their application supports people in the ICF priority areas below:Older People with complex needs and long-term conditionsPeople with dementiaChildren with complex needs, disabilities and/or illness, emotional and behavioural difficultiesChildren in need of support and carePeople with learning disabilitiesCarers, including young carersPrevention and early intervention5.
